As part of efforts to enhance employee preparedness and emergency response capabilities toward potential fire hazards, PT Kirana Musi Persada conducted a TKTD (Emergency Response Simulation) in the shell furnace area—one of the zones classified as high risk due to elevated temperatures and the presence of flammable materials.

The fire emergency response simulation was carried out on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, as a preventive measure to anticipate potential fire incidents in the workplace. The activity involved employees from the afternoon shift across the production, quality control, finished goods warehouse, and security departments. The simulation was conducted at night from 19:00–19:30 WIB. Its primary objective was to ensure that every employee understands fire response procedures, knows their respective roles and responsibilities, and is able to act swiftly and accurately in the event of a real emergency.

The simulation began with a scenario of a small fire occurring around the shell furnace area due to sparks from the burning process. On-duty personnel immediately took initial firefighting steps using portable fire extinguishers (APAR) and activated the emergency alarm. The emergency response team then followed established procedures by evacuating workers to the assembly point, securing the area, and coordinating with the internal firefighting unit and the K3 (Occupational Safety & Health) team of PT KMP.

Throughout the activity, the K3 team observed and evaluated response speed, communication effectiveness between teams, and the accuracy of firefighting procedures. After the simulation concluded, a debriefing session was conducted to provide feedback and identify points for improvement, particularly in cross-department coordination and equipment handling.

Through this TKTD simulation, PT Kirana Musi Persada demonstrates its commitment to creating a safe, responsive, and emergency-ready workplace. It is hoped that all employees will continue to strengthen their awareness and response abilities when facing potential emergencies, ensuring evacuation procedures run smoothly for the safety of all personnel at PT Kirana Musi Persada.
