Preventive maintenance is a scheduled maintenance and care of machines to prevent unexpected damage in the future. Preventive maintenance is carried out when all assets and equipment are still running smoothly in order to find conditions that can cause an asset to experience damage during the production process. The advantages of implementing preventive maintenance are to reduce long downtime that can hinder the production process, reduce energy consumption, make machines more durable and more efficient, and increase production productivity.

On Saturday, February 1, 2025, the engineering team in the routine morning chore activities will carry out preventive maintenance activities routinely once a week on February 2, 2025, in the production machine area, both in the milling line and the crumbing line, according to the previously planned job description.

"As usual, every week we do routine preventive maintenance; for spare part preparation, we have prepared 6 days before maintenance. Hopefully what we do tomorrow can prevent potential machine damage and downtime that disrupts the production process. Stay enthusiastic, all friends," said Mr. Bayu Anggara Rinaldi (PJS Head of Engineering Section) while giving direction to the engineering team during the morning chore.

"For this week's schedule on the screw breaker machine, namely replacing the screen and cutting blade, sir, the spare part preparation is all ready and just needs to be executed next week," said Adi Hansen (Maintenance Operator) when conveying the preparation of spare parts during the chore.

"Alhamdulillah, for the electrical team's preventive maintenance preparation for tomorrow, everything has been completed according to the job description of each technician; hopefully the preventive maintenance we do tomorrow will run smoothly and be guaranteed," added Nurfallah Afrillah (Electricity & Power House Operator).

"I inform you again, friends, to prepare materials or spare parts to support tomorrow's work, such as bolts, welding wire, v-belts, grinding stones, bearings, and so on. Please pay attention and check again. If there is still something missing, I will make a BMK so that it can be taken from the material warehouse," added Muhammad Agus (Technical Admin).
