Cascade Project In Anugrah Bungo Lestari

In the program to improve the ability of rubber farmers to manage their plantations, improve their quality, and increase their production capacity, it is necessary to hold training and practice on sustainable Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) for farmers. To support this activity, currently Michellin, Porsche and Kirana Megatara Group have jointly prepared a project called "Project Cascade" which stands for Committed Action for Smallhoolder Capacity Development.

Project Cascade has started since April 2021 and will continue until 2024. The project implementation location is around the PT Anugerah Bungo Lestari (ABL) in Kab. Muara Bungo, Kab. Tebo, and Kab. Merangin, Jambi Province. One of the activities of this project is the Rubber Clinic, which was held from May 25 to June 1, 2022 attended by representatives

a) Michellin namely Edouard de Rostolan, James Chang and Kunchalin

b) The project implementing partners are KSAPA Hatim and Adrien, as well as the Sunspirit team including Gregorius Afi, Adolf, Iqbal, Felix and Genta

c) Kirana Megatara Group assisted, including the Head Office team from the Corporate Sustainability Division, namely Widyantoko Sumarlin and Agung Nugroho

d) Smallholder Officers (SDO) of ABL, namely Budi and Achmadi.

The main agenda of this Rubber Clinic activity is to provide training and directly visit the gardens and warehouses of the rubber farmers assisted by ABL. In addition, the team also visited the ABL factory to see the production process of the rubber factory.
