Fire Extinguishing Training at PT New Kalbar Processors

PT New Kalbar Processors (NKP) held a Fire Extinguishing Training in the open area surrounding the factory on Saturday (9/12). The collaboration between NKP's SHE Team and the Local Training PIC aims to enhance employees' knowledge, awareness, and abilities in dealing with emergency situations related to fire suppression. The training involved the use of fire extinguishers (APAR) and traditional methods (sackcloth), as well as household-available equipment. The activity utilized 4 sacks, 13 APAR cylinders, 4 used drums, fuel, and water for fire extinguishing simulations. It is expected that all employees will participate in this training in the future. This training is crucial in enhancing employees' awareness, knowledge, and abilities in dealing with emergency situations, especially fires. The participants are expected to comprehend and apply the training material for swift actions in fire emergency situations, both individually and as a team.
