Heavy Equipment Emission Test at PT Kirana Musi Persada

Emission testing is a crucial procedure used to evaluate engine performance as detected by specialized monitors. This test is conducted to determine the combustion efficiency of engines. It involves specific requirements that certain types of vehicles must meet to pass according to established criteria. Therefore, PT Kirana Musi Persada has scheduled a specific emission test for heavy machinery on May 2, 2024. This emission test positively impacts several aspects, notably the environment. Through this process, the level of emissions produced by engine combustion, which affect the environment, can be measured.

If the emission levels exceed the maximum allowable limits, it indicates that the vehicle is not in proper condition. In this context, emission testing is also beneficial for assessing the health of vehicle engines to prevent damage, protect environmental health from air pollution, and comply with regulatory requirements, specifically the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 5 of 2006 concerning emission thresholds for older motor vehicles.

"Atta Batul Ghulam (a heavy machinery mechanic) stated, 'Thankfully, all heavy machinery vehicles at PT KMP passed the emission test. The successful passing of this test positively impacts both the environment and the health of the vehicles themselves. Through this process, several important points about the vehicle's condition, such as the state of the injectors, exhaust gas levels, and the remaining exhaust gas levels from the exhaust, can be identified.'"
