PT Bintang Agung Persada Holds Fire Training and Use of APAR

Banyuasin, October 31, 2024 – PT Bintang Agung Persada (BAP) has successfully held a fire training and the use of light fire extinguishers (APAR) on Thursday, October 31, 2024. This event was held in collaboration with the Banyuasin Regency Fire Department and presented Mr. Rake Sandi as the main speaker.

 

This training was attended by the Factory Manager of PT BAP, Mr. Jujuh Sopian, who opened the session by emphasizing the importance of safety and preparedness for emergency situations. In the material presented, Mr. Rake Sandi discussed various topics, including the definition of fire, fire classification, and understanding of light fire extinguishers and how to use them.

 

In addition to theory, the training participants, consisting of 25 employees from various divisions, also carried out field practice. Some of the practical activities carried out included handling gas leaks, using burlap sacks to extinguish fires, and procedures for using APAR and APAB (Heavy Fire Extinguishers).

 

From this training, participants are invited to understand that fires can occur anytime and anywhere, so prevention and preparedness are very important. Awareness and skills in firefighting must continue to be honed through routine training in order to better deal with emergencies.

 

 

This training is expected to be an important provision for all PT BAP employees to make safety a daily work culture in the company environment.
