PT Kirana Megatara Tbk Successfully Delivers EUDR-Compliant SIR to Europe

PT Kirana Megatara Tbk (hereinafter referred to as “KM”), the leading Indonesian rubber company, has repeatedly achieved another significant milestone within the industry, following the successful shipment of European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)-compliant Standard Indonesian Rubber (SIR) to the European market. The inaugural shipment on May 31, 2024, from PT New Kalbar Processors, Pontianak, West Kalimantan, signifies a pivotal moment for the company, marking its readiness to meet demanding EUDR requirements. With its 13 out of 14 factories already successfully exporting compliant products to various European countries since January 2024, KM is well positioned to complete its comprehensive compliance strategy, with the 14th factory scheduled to commence shipments by June 2024.
