PT Kirana Musi Persada Wins Award for “Company with Orderly Administration and Reporting of Employment Social Security in 2024”

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Employment Social Security Agency), since the end of 2019, officially using the nickname BPJAMSOSTEK, is a Public Legal Entity that is directly responsible to the President of the Republic of Indonesia and provides protection for workers to overcome certain socio-economic risks due to employment relationships. As a state institution engaged in the field of social security, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is the implementer of the labor social security law.

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan was previously called Jamsostek (Employment Social Security), which was managed by PT Jamsostek (Persero), but in accordance with Law No. 24 of 2011 concerning BPJS, PT Jamsostek changed to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan since January 1, 2014.

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, the "2024 Employment Group Discussion Forum" was held at the Aston Hotel Palembang and was attended by 120 companies operating in the Musi Banyuasin Region. With the theme "Realizing inclusive and sustainable workforce development transformation through strengthening harmonious industrial relations in Musi Banyuasin district." In the awarding of the award certificate, 7 companies were selected to receive awards, and there are several criteria regarding company compliance related to employment, and one of the awards was won by PT Kiran Musi Persada, namely "Company with orderly administration and reporting of social security for employment in 2024," represented by Mrs. Lestari Manullang (Office Manager).

 

Head of the Muba Manpower and Transmigration Office, Mr. H. Mursalin SE MM, directly presented awards to 7 partner companies and contributors of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan when he attended the 2024 Employment Forum Group Discussion and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Business Entity Awards.

 

 

Appearing at the event and the award to the Business Entity, the Head of the Musi Banyuasian District Prosecutor's Office, the Regional Secretary of Musi Banyuasin Regency, and also the Assistant for Government and Social Welfare of the Musi Banyuasin Regency Secretariat and representatives of office managers from each company in the Musi Banyuasin Regency area.
