PT Nusira - Smallholders Gathering to Get More High Quality Bokar and Pestalotiopsis Solution
Tuesday, 15th February, 2022 PT Nusira has conducted Smallholder Gathering and in Minta Kasih Village, Salapian District, Langkat Regency, attended by the Head of Minta Kasih Village, Mr. Tedi Tarigan and 40 smallholders.
The Smallholder Gathering was opened by Mr. Bambang Agus as Head of Region of Sumbagut and closed by Mr. Sihur Antoni as Director of Operations of PT Nusira. The objective of the event was to engage rubber farmers for maintaining the existence of rubber plantations in the midst of the replacement rubber trees to palm oil tress issue. This event was very welcomed by rubber farmers. The presence of PT Nusira that representing Kirana Megatara Group was to hear Voice of the Rubber Farmer for the rubber price crisis and the problem of Pestalotiopsis.
PT Nusira persuade all the farmers to remain enthusiastic in the midst of the rubber price crisis by maintaining the quality of bokar and suggesting the farmers to overcome the problem of Pestalotiopsis by using the intercropping method during leaf fall. In the future, PT Nusira, delagted by PT Nusira's SDO (Sourcing Development Officer), Haris Munandar, will continue to provide education regarding the quality of bokar and Pestalotiopsis solutions to other smallholders.
