PT Anugrah Bungo Lestari - Corporate Social Responsibility:Embrace the Farmer

Tebo, 3 October 2019, Farmer counseling given by one of the rubber champions "farmers" in Indonesia who is also one of KMG's partners, Mr. Kliwon. He gave an understanding of how to cultivate rubber well so that it could improve the productivity of rubber farmers and how to handle good post-harvest so that the quality of the rubber produced would be higher. This activity was carried out on the sidelines of the tapping competition held by PT Anugrah Bungo Lestari which presented hundreds of partner farmers and potential partners. Coaching activities like this are routinely carried out by the Sourcing Development Officer (SDO) team in each factory and have been running since 2011.

PT Anugrah Bungo Lestari successfully organized the tapping contest, quiz competition and the best bokar competition at the location of the Jaya Lestari farmer group, Tebo Regency, Jambi, on 3 October 2019. The event was attended by more than 200 farmers and several officers from several government agencies local. This event aims to increase the capacity of rubber farmers both partners and potential partners of KMG through an interesting and entertaining game system. One local rubber farmer, Sukir, hopes that PT Anugrah Bungo Lestari can hold an event like this every year. Events like this can increase farmers' knowledge and provide entertainment for farmers amid sluggish rubber price conditions, he added.

PT Anugrah Bungo Lestari provided assistance to one of the partner rubber farmers, Mr. Tubi, in the form of 3 quintals of NPK fertilizer, tapping knives, tapping bowls, and several other harvesting equipment. This assistance was given as a form of cooperation in the manufacture of a 2 hectare rubber plantation demonstration plot in Sumber Agung Village, Rimbo Bujang District, Tebo Jambi. This assistance is also a form of appreciation from PT Anugrah Bungo Lestari to rubber farmers who have been faithfully cooperating for the past 3 years. Through this assistance it is hoped that farmers can take care of their rubber plantations so that rubber production will become better.

Kirana Megatara - Corporate Social Responsibility:Kirana Ber-Qurban

Commemorating the Eid al-Adha holiday, PT Kirana Megatara Tbk conveyed the assistance of sacrificial animals in various locations where Kirana Factory and Depot are located. The company delivered sacrificial animals as many as 12 cows and 3 goats to be distributed to the community around the Kirana Megatara factory.

Community members around the factory enthusiastically welcomed the distribution of qurban animals to them. Residents also appreciated the qurban committee which was considered more coordinated so that the distribution was more effective. They are very happy with Kirana Ber Qurban's annual program and hope that this activity will continue to be maintained, especially for people who are unable to sacrifice.

Through the delivery of sacrificial animals, Kirana Megatara continues to strive to improve the welfare of the community around the company. In addition, the delivery of sacrificial animal assistance is also expected to encourage Kirana Megatara's extended family to jointly do good and participate in community life, especially around the company's environment.

PT Djambi Waras (Jambi) - Corporate Social Responsibility: Scholarships for Farmers Children

Jambi, 27 July 2019, Kirana Megatara through its subsidiary, PT Djambi Waras, in collaboration with one of the world's tire manufacturers, Goodyear, provided scholarship assistance to 45 students from elementary, junior high to high school levels. All of this scholarship recipients are children of farmers who have partnered with PT Djambi Waras. The Scholarships is provided in the form of savings for 2 years with a nominal value of 2.5 million / year for elementary school, 3 million / year for junior high school, and 3.5 million / year for senior high school.

PT Djambi Waras's Director of Operations, Mr. Rikson Tambunan, said that this activity was a continues program of providing scholarship assistance to farmers Children since 2017. This year is a special year because scholarships are given for the next 2 years until 2021. We hope that this scholarship can help farmers to send their children to school so they have a better future. This activity is a concrete manifestation of Kirana Megatara in an effort to help improve the welfare of farmers. Rasiman as one of company partner farmer, give his testimony that this activity was one of the benefits from a partnership with PT Djambi Waras. He hopes that this scholarship will encourage the children of farmers to become the next generation who are able to become future leaders.

PT Kirana Permata - Corporate Responsibility Program: Clean water for all

On May 15, 2019, PT Kirana Permata represented by Mr. Sumadi as Director of Operations and Mr. Rahmadani as the Office Manager, handed over 2 (two) water well installation to Aur Village. This ceremonial event represented by Aur Village Chief Mr. Husni Fauzi and witnessed by people around the factory. This donation is one of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs for social environment which is expected to maintain a harmonious relationship between PT Kirana Permata and the surrounding community, namely the Aur village community in Kecamatan Lubai by providing clean water facilities for them.

PT Djambi Waras (Jambi) - Corporate Social Responsibility: Lively Education in Jambi City

The activities of the elementary school poetry contest at Jambi city ended successfully on Wednesday (1/5) .The activity was held to coincide with Labor Day May 1 at the Adiwangsa University Building in Jambi carried out by PT. Djambi Waras with the Forum Pemuda Peduli Nusantara (FPPN), which is one of the Partner Community Organizations of the Jambi City Government.

PT. Putra Katingan Pratama mengoperasikan PAUD/TK ditujukan sebagai pengganti Tempat Penitipan Anak (TPA) saat orang tua bekerja. Aktivitas murid dimulai pada pukul 07.00 – 12.00 dan diisi dengan kegiatan olah raga/ senam bersama, bernyanyi, bermain, membaca dan menulis.
